Grilled Summer Balsamic Veggies

  • Grab some of your favorite summer vegetables that are easily grilled with an extra zest from our Bistro Blends Olive Oil with Basil and our Bistro Blends Heirloom Balsamic Vinegar. You can choose whatever delicious vegetables you have, but we have used portabella mushrooms, red onions, and both green and red peppers. You can use wooden skewers for shish kabobs, but make sure they are soaked in water for at least an hour to avoid burning on the grill.
  • Layer the vegetables and lightly brush them with olive oil, cooking on each side for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Take the skewers off of the heat and lightly drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the vegetables. These can be immediately served, or chilled and served cold on a salad.
